OTHER
ACTIVITIES
Briançon
town - a great day-out for non-skiers
Jump on the free shuttle bus and 20 minutes later you'll find yourself
in Briançon, the highest town in Europe (you can of course ski
to Briançon if you prefer). The Cité Vauban (the old town
of Briancon) makes the trip well worth a visit with its pretty houses
and interesting souvenir shops.
Relax
at the thermal spa
The village has one of the largest spa baths in Europe (currently under
construction). Located at the bottom of the pistes, this makes an ideal
retreat at the end of the day to unwind and relax.

Snowshoes
Go trekking in the snow with a pair of snowshoes attached to your
walking boots - suddenly the beautiful snowy valleys and mountains
are within your reach. There are walks throughout the valley and you can
use the lifts to avoid the uphill treks! Why not spend a day snow-shoeing
and stop for lunch in one of the mountain restaurants?

Tabogganing
& Sledging
Children (and big
kids!) adore tabogganing and there are lots of places where you can spend
an hour or more having enormous fun, often in fits of giggles. Taboggans,
sledges and other fun 'sliding' equipment can be hired or bought in the
village.
