WATERSPORTS

"With 500 km of navigable rivers, the Hautes Alpes region
is a mecca of canoe-kayak and all white water sports. The Guisane: a training river par excellence, offers currents at all levels from beginner to expert."

In Serre Chevalier, white water sports can be enjoyed between April and October and access into the river Guisane is just five minutes walk from the hotel. Experienced canoeists, kayakers and rafting enthusiasts will know exactly where to head but those less experienced should take advantage of the numerous local guides and instructors that we can put you in touch with, such as Jour de Raft. If you're heading out to Serre Chevalier with your own watersports gear, the hotel has storage facilities for all your equipment - even the canoes and kayaks.

Other watersports are becoming increasingly popular including canyoning which involves abseiling, jumping and sliding down steep water canyons deep in the mountains.
